NVMe drives are approximately six times faster than SATA due to the ability to connect four PCI Express channels in parallel.

AMD EPYC processors are designed in accordance with the most modern standards of efficiency and security in server building. AMD EPYC was created for Enterprise-level loads and offers excellent performance with support for eight memory channels with 2 TB of DDR4 memory, 128 PCIe 3.0 bus lines per processor, and up to 32 physical cores.

Thus, EPYC processors have a 33% increase in memory bandwidth and a significantly bigger number of I/O lines.

The speed of applications that frequently access memory increases profoundly. EPYC 7000 processors provide a single-socket server with the performance that was previously only achievable on servers built on a two-socket architecture.
